New Application Procedures
  1. Proceed to the Institutional & Human Resource Department and apply the intent for connection
  2. After signing the Inspection Report prepared by the IHRD personnel, pay the Inspection Fee to the Cashier.
  3. An inspection will be held by a cooperative inspector. Upon clearing, the applicant will be given an Application Form.
  4. After clearance has been issued by the line inspector, the applicant/s should avail of the application form which shall be passed to the IHRD Manager and the General Manager for signing and release the application for processing to the City Hall and the City Engineering Office.
  5. Proceed to the Land Tax Office and the City Assessors’ Office for Application assessment.
  6. Secure an Electrical Permit Form and have it signed by a licensed Electrical Engineer.
  7. Pay for the Electrical Permit Fee and have the Electrical Permit Form signed by the City Engineer together with the Certificate of Final Electrical Inspection, Certificate of Completion of Electrical Works and Electrical Plan.
  8. Go back to SAJELCO, and submit all the completed documents.
  9. A contract will be given to the applicant/s; this should be read carefully and then sign.
  10. Submit two pieces 1x1 picture.
  11. Attend a Pre-Membership Education Seminar (PMES) which is held every Friday, 1:00 PM at the SAJELCO substation.
  12. After completion of all the requirements, the applicant should then pay the necessary payments for the meter installation and wait for the schedule of connection of watt-hour meter.
Reconnection Procedures
  1. Pay all the unpaid bills and the Reconnection Fee (PHP 100.00) to the Cashier.
  2. Show the receipts to the Consumer Welfare Desk for preparation of Job Order and scheduling.
Separation Of Load
  1. Secure an authorization from the registered member-consumer.
  2. Inspection held by a cooperative representative.
  3. Verification of accounts. There should be no unpaid bills at the time of intent for separation.
  4. Sketch of electrical layout.
  5. Two pieces 1x1 picture.
  6. Payment for the necessary fees, deposits, and shares.
  7. Attendance on a Pre-Membership Education Seminar (PMES) which is held every Friday, 1:00 PM at the SAJELCO substation is required. 
Transfer Of Rights
In any case that the registered member-consumer passed-away, the rights can be transferred to the following relatives:
  • Spouse. The following documents (Original & Photocopy) should be presented:
  • Marriage Contract.
  • Death Certificate of the deceased member.
  • Two pieces 1x1 picture.
  • Attendance on a Pre-Membership Education Seminar (PMES) which is held every Friday, 1:00 PM at the SAJELCO substation is required
  • Child. In any case that the spouse of a deceased member cannot be present at SAJELCO, their child can apply for the Transfer of Rights. A waiver or a letter of consent should be presented, signed by the spouse of the deceased member, together with the following documents (Original & Photocopy):
  • Marriage Contract. 
  • Death Certificate of the deceased member.
  • Two pieces 1x1 picture.
  • Attendance on a Pre-Membership Education Seminar (PMES) which is held every Friday, 1:00 PM at the SAJELCO substation is required.
Change Of Ownership
  1. Deed of Absolute Sale.
  2. Payment for the necessary fees, deposits, and shares.
  3. Two pieces 1x1 picture.
  4. Attendance on a Pre-Membership Education Seminar (PMES) which is held every Friday, 1:00 PM at the SAJELCO substation is required. 
Meter Testing
  1. Proceed to the Institutional & Human Resource Department, and apply for meter calibration.
  2. Pay for the Calibration Fee (PHP 100) to the Cashier.
  3. Show the receipt to IHRD personnel for the preparation of Job Order. The IHRD will forward the Job Order to the Metering Section for scheduling.
